Hope you like it, here it is:

Yesterday the campain film I did for The Future in our Hands/Fremtiden i våre hender, was released. It’s funny, watch it here 🙂

I recently had two castings for some amazing job opportunities! One is for a really great job in London, and the other one a film by one of Scandinavia’s leading directors – theses are the coolest jobs I’ve ever auditioned for, so I’m really crossing my fingers 🙂

Had a really nice experience shooting a short film last week. It’s called Firewatch, and I play one of the two leads, Katarina. This is a post apocalyptic film about the survival of the fittest, it’s my very first proper action part, and really fun to play. We did a night shoot at the Church Ruins in Maridalen in Oslo, as you can see from the pictures.

Yesterday I was finally back on stage 🙂 I performed a monologue from Autumn Sonata by Ingmar Bergman, as Eva. The venue was Caféteatret in Oslo, where I did my production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, four years ago.

Last week I  was fortunate to do a self tape for an international feature film. As you can see, the part of a nun. I’ll make sure to let you know if I get it 🙂

This is “Janne Gundersen”, an inspector for the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet). You can see the video of me as Janne here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIKPQ3P79dA&feature=youtu.be

Last night, TV2 aired the episode of Åsted Norge (Crime scene Norway), that I filmed in January. In the scene I actually get kidnapped! You can see the scene here: http://www.tv2.no/v/1180672/

Some of the other, “real”, people on the show, are people I work with at the Police Academy, training the students. Yesterday I had to play a heroin addict, with a possible overdose. The crazy world of an actor 😀

March 20th, 2017

I’ve done acting jobs almost non stop the last few months, very grateful and happy about that, and crossing my fingers that it will continue.

Last week I had three days on location playing Hege, in Mikael Svanberg’s short film “Krabaten”. Hege is the mother of Elias, a ten year old, who’s not happy about his mom’s new boyfriend. This is a dark comedy, with elements that reminds me of David Lynch, the Cohen Brothers and the “We have to talk about Kevin” movie (with one of my favorite actresses, Tilda Swinton).

I had such a great time on set with everyone, just like I did in Lillehammer 🙂

Now I’m waiting to hear back from a new commercial casting. Didn’t get the last one I auditioned for, but I got really good feedback from the casting director/producer, which I thought was very nice of them.

Let me present you to my characters, Hege and Wenche:

February 23rd, 2017

I’m currently back and forth between Oslo and Lillehammer, filming the comedy TV-series “Selvhjelpsspalten” (“The self help column), for the Norwegian Film School. I play the part of Wenche, a mother who’s very concerned with how people see her and her daughters, everything has to appear perfect.

Today I had a casting for a big commercial, and next week I have an audition for the lead in a short film – fingers crossed 🙂

Here’s a still from the scene I shot with director Pål Sletaune a couple of weeks ago. I finally got to play Martha from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf. And one from the Elsa teaser, shot by Prince Joe.

Happy new year! Lot’s going on already 🙂 I’ve been filming the short film “Next II Mine” by https://www.facebook.com/NewVisionsgateProduction/and director Prince Joe.

Yesterday I did a scene for the TV-show Åsted Norge (Crime scene Norway), at the container harbour, were “the deal” went horribly wrong for my character.

For the next few weeks I’ll be working with the Norwegian Film School, first an intensive week of filming with established directors Pål Sletaune, Eva Sørhaug, Ulrik I Rolfsen and Terje Ragnes, before filming a comedy TV-series in Lillehammer. Busy and happy 🙂

December 28th, 2016

2016 has been a good year. My focus has been mainly on my script “Elsa”, which has been developed with the help of Sources 2 script writing program. I spent a week at FilmCamp, north of Norway, and one in Vienna with them, and my script is now done. I’m in dialog with a director and producer, and crossing my fingers for an Elsa-adventure in 2017.

I’ve had several acting opportunities, among them the new comedy series “Roeng Kommune”. The last couple of months I’ve done two infomercials and several days of roleplaying with med- and police students, and had more castings then ever before 🙂

Me as inspector Janne, and some high lights of the past few months. As you can see, you’ll find me on Instagram for daily updates.
