Born and raised in Tromsø, in the North of Norway, above the Arctic Circle. In 1997 I moved to London to train at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, and ended up living there for five years.  My first professional part was as a hippie in a TV commercial on Channel 4, UK 🙂

My passion for film led me in 2002 to the TVI Studios “Professional Actors Summer Program” in Los Angeles. I loved LA and had to go back!
In 2004 I moved to LA to do the “One year acting for film program” at the New York Film Academy, Universal Studios. Here I did several short films, and my teachers were industry professionals like former HBO Producer Russel Gray (who did the original casting for Sex and the City), multi award winning actor/director John Henry Richardson, and actress and founder of Actor’s Fast Track, Valorie Hubbard.

Since 2007 have I worked on a regular basis with medical students at the University of Oslo and students at the Police Academy, roleplaying many different scenarios and characters.

In January 2013 I did a production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by John Patrick Shanley, at Caféteatret in Oslo. I played the role of Roberta, and produced and translated the play. The role of Danny was played by Erik Skøld, and it was directed by Tina Hartvig. We received funding from three different organizations.

I’m currently searching for a director and producer for my feature film screenplay, “Elsa”. I was chosen to pitch the project at the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund in 2015, and I have been in the European screen writing mentor program, Sources2.

I wrote and directed the short film “Love you to death” (“Elsker deg til døde”) in December 2017. My producer is Vibeke Karlsen. The film will be sent to film festivals around the world, from March 2018.

From March/April 2018 I will appear in two Norwegian TV-series. “Roeng” on TV2, and “Rekyl” (three episodes) on TV3.
